Despite concerns about his recent form, Farouk would be disappointed if Salah left Liverpool and wishes him well if he moves on. Mellouki likewise hopes Salah enjoys a favorable spell at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and returns refreshed and energized. He credits Liverpool with providing Salah the platform to shine and contribute both locally and globally, including trophies that have helped put the club on the map. He cautions against allowing one interview to derail a career built on mutual respect and loyalty to one’s home.
